Meet the cats
We are very happy to say that all of our café cats come from a lovely rescue Peterborough Cat Rescue, the cats at our cafe have been lucky enough to find their forever home. If you feel as though you can provide a cat with their forever home, then please contact Peterborough Cat Rescue.

Mouse
My name is Mouse. I have a huge personality, and an even louder voice. I like to meow a lot. My tongue hangs out of my mouth because I have no teeth on one side, but don't worry I'm super happy and it doesn't stop me having a huge appetite. I spend most of my day walking around and meowing or climbing, sometimes both at the same time. My favourite toys are little mice, and I like to think I'm in charge (even though I'm not). I hope to see you soon.

Boo
Hi there, I'm Boo, a big, lush cat. I am possibly the grumpiest cat in the morning while waking up and before being fed. I only like to be stroked on the head - please do not go any further. I’d love to play with you and love toys, especially the little pom-poms floating around the café.

Lando
Hi, I am Lando. I am new to the café. I suffer with hay fever. Don’t worry though, I’m nice and healthy and have regular vet checks. I am the chillest cat you will ever meet. Feel free to stroke me. I love toys and cuddles.

Radish
Hello, the names Radish. I'm a very simple cat. I love napping in the window, where I can soak up the sun. I also like having a snack. I love getting strokes and attention from people even when I'm having a nap so please, stroke my head gently.

Kitty Donut
Hello there, I am Kitty Donut.
I love spending most of my days lounging in the window. I love watching the world go by with my friends.
I do love a stroke but not always, I might give you a little slap if I'm not in the mood for strokes. I don't want to hurt you, I just don't know how else to tell you.

Utange
Hello I am Utange, I am tripod cat with a unique name. I was named by Caroline; she is a quadruple amputee after battling Covid-related sepsis. She chose the name Utange as for many years she has been part of a team raising money to build a vocational school for children with disabilities in the Kenyan village of Utange.
If you would like to find out more about Caroline and see her amazing story follow her blog A journey of recovery
Bumble Bee (Bumble)
Hello, I am a small orange cat with lighter orange stripes and spots. I am the youngest cat at the cafe. I am very friendly, but I am still settling in, so I like to hide. I am deaf in one ear.

Oona
I am the spiciest cat at the café. You can usually find me sitting in the cat tree in the left-hand corner of the café. Just stretch out your hand for me to sniff. You never know I might be in the mood for a stroke. I also love to play with toys.

Willow
I am a big bundle of affection all wrapped up into a cat. I love to be stroked and to sit on your lap. I will always step in if I sense another cat may need my help thereby making any situation worse. I do not like to be disturbed when sleeping

Waffle
Hi, I am Waffle.
I, like most cats love a good nap. I find the purrfect spot, I curl up and sleep for hours and hours. If you see me asleep please do not stroke me. I do not like to be disturbed while sleeping. If you see me awake and walking around feel free to give me a stroke.
